I love how people legitimately think they HAVE to support the prequels to see the other movies converted to 3D. Like its so expensive to convert a film to 3D...it isn't. You can't be that stupid to think your dollar is really going that far. A fool and his money are soon parted.
Not really sure where you see this. The reviews that make up the 60% you see on the main page are all from the original release, scant 2 that came in this week- one bashes the movie as a whole and doesnt mention anything of the 3D and serves as a rant, the other says the 3D is underutilized.

So unless I am missing something, there dont seem to be really any reviews here covering the 3D effectiveness. Did you find them somewhere else on the page, or did you just comment by seeing the % and not really clicking on the movie? Cause I am not sure where your "reviews" plural is coming from.

EDIT: Just looked. There are only 3 reviews since July, 2011. Only one of them mentions 3D -- and in fact it states that the 3D was good but underutilized. Guess that answers my question...
while you were editing I was basically typing the same thing. DOnt think that person really did any HW before answering

Well seeing as it was publicized that it will cost several million a film and a year to do the work to give it the best treatment possible, and that lucas or someone on his team said that future releases will depend on the success of the previous film, I think it's a very fair statement.

However, for people to feel obligated to forcibly pay to see the first 3 so they eventually get 4-6 is a little silly. Like we are being tricked into funding subsequent releases.

You either want to go see it or not. enough will go to cover the next film, especially with new generations of kids having never seen them in a theater, the clone wars cartoon audience, etc.

Exactly. One barely mentions it (spends the whole time railing on story, acting, etc.), one goes into detail by an admitted 3D-hater, and one calls it underutilized.

And your point is? If you find that much objection with a review then you should know by now to make up your own mind.

Here is my favorite review so far, he let his kid (or whatever) pick the grade. Legit journalism and critique.

My point is there is not a great number of reviews out there regarding the 3D. Most of the reviews are old reviews that attack the plot, acting, etc., and disregard (obviously) the 3D.

What exactly is your point?

I only posted reviews that dealt with the new 3D release. I have no control of the writer if he/she chose not to dwell on the 3D.

My point is go see it and make up your own damn mind.
