It would be better if they just put the original on blu-ray. Keenu Reeves? Ugh.

How about putting the original on the same disc as the new one when it is released on Blu...isn't like they wouldn't have enough room on a disc. Sounds like something Blu-Ray and 50GB discs are made for...

Based on past experience, I have no hope for this remake. Whenever Hollywood tries to remake classics, the wind up screwing it up.

Actually, I'd probably enjoy it more if they put a no-name in the role. I tend to like movies better when I don't have pre-concived notions about the actor.

The movie based on the Lost in Space TV show is a prime example. Bill Mumy should have played his adult self. That hairy bearded freak geek just destroyed the entire concept of who Will Robinson was - a brilliant, respectful young boy. They brought in dysfunction and ruined the entire concept fans knew and love.

I'm a huge collector the LIS Robot, but just the classic.
