While not terrible, I too have quite a bit of crosstalk. I have very little to none on any other movie, including MBV at least not as noticeable as this. Still it has outstanding 3D...the depth is fantastic on this one.

I too have a Sony XBR 55 in engine TV and a S780 player. With very few 3D flicks, do I see ghosting. For instance, the other night we watched Puss 3D. It was a great 3D movie. I did notice a couple spots that the movie did have very brief ghosts in the scenes. Other than that, the movie was great and the 3D effects were great. However, I have watched a few converted History Channel and nature documentaries 3D movies that have some ghosting, but for the most part, all of the native 3Ds and the better quality converted 3Ds, the viewing is superb.

I can't wait to add this film to my collection, but I'm not sure which version I should go with... 2D Blu-Ray or 3D Blu-Ray? What do you guys think?

Definitely the 3D one. This film was made for 3D. Tbh if this film was in 2D I think I would have gotten really bored and turned it off. The storyline isn't anything amazing and is rather slow and boring to watch. But the 3D keeps u watching no matter how boring the actual film is. So go for the 3D edition.

The 3D was just dang amazing, one of the best 3D movies I have ever seen.
Faces come outa the screen a bit and the 3D feels so natural. I really felt like I am part of the movie.

A few scenes show the train inspectors dog face on, and his head comes right out a bit at you. The train inspector himself comes outa the screen often as well.
On your LG, where did you have the 3D Viewpoint set while watching this movie? Some movies look great with depth others with the viewpoint coming out towards you.

I got virtually no cross talk on my lg passive display.

Hugo definitely the best 3d movie in my opinion but has divided opinion as a movie. I loved the story personally & the comments that the 3d is never gimmicky are spot on. Every shot is masterfully done, as expected & i think if watched in 2d, you only get half a movie. Wonderful stuff. That is how to make a 3d movie.

Does anyone know whether the UK 3D version of Hugo will come with a normal digital copy?

Film was very good and a few scenes the depth impressed me...but honestly...its no Journey to the Centre of the Earth though IMHO.

Had a chance to watch the movie for like an hour last night and I should say that the review here doesnt do justice to the 3D quality.

Though there was slight hint of ghosting here and there, overall was very impressed. The movie looked and felt the same way it did when I watched it in the theatre. Great content and visuals overall !

Amazon has this at $27.99 (which is what I think Best Buy has it for) but has a list price of $54.99. Really? $54.99?!? I know I'll want this movie but would have to scrap by and tighten my belt to get it but I don't want to wait a few weeks and then it go up even $35. Thoughts?

Either try and grab it now or rent and then hope it drops on Black Friday? Not sure it'll drop before then...by very much, anyhow.

I never saw it in the theater but I'm still really looking forward to seeing it....unfortunately, SSX will also be delivered today, so I doubt anything other than that will be on our TV for a while, if my husband has his way.
