United Kingdom Dolphins & Whales / Sharks / Ocean Wonderland (2003-2008) Blu-ray 3D [Region Free]

Amazon has this set for $54.99, and I have a Prime membership, so my shipping is included. That works out to $18.33 per disc. Wal Mart is selling the titles separately for $18.96. Here are my questions:

How is this set in terms of the quality of the 3D?

Do these titles have 3D slipcovers? (Yes, I have a lenticular slipcover obsession).

If you buy the box set, and each title has a 3D slipcover, do they come with the slipcovers in the box set?

I have a $50.00 gift card from Amazon.com that I got for my birthday, so the set would really only be costing me $4.99.

Thanks for any help that you can provide.

I just checked the NBC Universal Store site, and they did not have it there.

I found these pretty meh titles, the 3D is relatively strong but they are nowhere near as polished as the home grown IMAX docos like Deep Sea 3D or Under the Sea 3D, in particular these docs badly, badly need to be colour timed in my opinion, because the colours often look washed out and the contrast could do with being amped. Still, if you haven't seen better it may be alright.

They are decent documentaries for the price I paid

Especially the whales one has lot of depth....and if the stupid potato cod from under the sea impressed you, wait till you see different whale species float into your room...but don't expect too much color

Just get the UK version. I think I ended up paying like $25 CAD for it when it went on sale.

All three docs are decent. Really nothing to rave about. The 3D turns awful whenever the camera view gets too close to an object, for instance the dolphin.

I ordered the 3-pack from Amazon today and will have it Wednesday. Looking forward to three more underwater documentaries.

Still no US market taking orders for this one. Guess it takes a while.

I bought in on these when the price was $12 from the NBC Uni store. IMO they're pretty awful. The 3-D ranges from great to mediocre, but the content itself -- the preachy, in your face messages and trite dialogue which on at least one of them was aimed strictly at kids -- made me never want to watch them again.
