Are people still playing this game online? One day I plan to go back for the "Wanted" trophy which you need to get to level 10. Long hard grind ahead of me from level 4. Was in the process of getting AWP but that checklist was getting boring.

Barely...at least when I have gotten on it recently. Rockstar really needs to restructure their online multiplayer in terms of how you find a game.

I'm still playing it. I'm on level 5 at the moment, so I've got a long way to go too, but I only need wanted for the platinum.

I can help out with AWP for you if you want, as I just have to do nothing, so I can do other things in the background while you do the games if you want.

I can find games all of the time when I go on. The only time I have to wait is doing random ones like helicopter races, as not many people want to do them, so they quit as soon as they join.

Maybe sometime next week to work on AWP. I have a checklist and can continue off that. Sucks that some races take so damn long. If you want we could 2-man noose for the remainder of WANTED. I still have a lot of offline ones to do but I save that for when I am really bored.

I got that platinum. All I can say is good luck, it gets very boring and tedious after a short while. As an advice, I'll say that it's good to have a good number of people to boost with.

Sounds good. I've actually been shown another way to make $100k in an hour, so we could maybe do that?

The Complete Edition will occupy ~11 GB of hard drive space. I went with the disc version, seeing as it was cheaper and the mandatory game data install was roughly half of that.

sounds great. we can switch out doing that and doing the races to change it up every so often. Are you talking about the BTB2 sniper respawn glitch? Im watching that on youtube right now. $700k per 2-3 hour session, and $5M to get from level 1-10.

Nah, it's not that one, it's a deathmatch one, but you need the Balled Of Gay Tony DLC apparently. There's an island at the bottom of the map and you go onto a pier, stand either side with sniper rifles and then you shoot one person, they re-spawn in the same place and just rinse and repeat.

We could even do 30 minutes each through the 60 minutes game, or even just do the game for 10-20 minutes.

I should be on Saturday night I hope and Sunday too. I think you're still on my friends list, I'll have to double check.

It did get tedious, especially with all those glitches... but i actually miss it haha.

Damn I do not have the DLC... I did get a hold of a 2nd copy of GTAIV from a friend so I can self boost the AWP races using my 2nd PS3. Going to be pretty boring. I also read a way to boost in GTA races by having one person just stand next to their car and die, then after a couple hours they can switch. I dont know the $$/hr rate though.

edit to add: now that I have the ability to run 2 consoles at the same time, are there 2 or 3 people who would like to try to knock out the Team Multiplayer games (Car Jack City, Mafia Work, Cops n Crooks, etc) towards the AWP trophy? I think I only need 2 game types, which I have written down at home, so if 2 or 3 other people would be willing and able (volunteers?) to help a fellow BLU out I would appreciate the help.

I'll help mate. I've saw the race one too. I've done it a few times but non-boosted. Play a race with lots of people then stop at a place with the weapon pick up, kill some one they spawn nearby then kill them again and keep doing it. Takes a whole to get a large amount of cash though.

Ps - want to get 100% on burnout, as the two trophies you need can be done in about 10 minutes.

Yeah that would be great, just let me know when you are available and we can try to knock out all these trophies. Im on mostly nights PST time, or early morning 0500 GMT (might be tough being across the pond from each other).

edit to add: stupid target had the normal GTA4 marked as GTA4 complete, no luck. Might try finding a used copy of liberty city stories.

I just wanted Liberty City originally and won it on eBay and it was actually the complete GTA with the original game and the Liberty City episodes, so I can sell my original game and use that one.

Yeah, the time difference is the only issue, but with working shifts and having the kids, I'm sometimes up at stupid hours in the morning (3am etc), so I'm sure we'll see each other online at times.

Last night was late for me. 4am so I will not be able to do that again. The easiest way to boost for 2 people to level at the same time would be noose. We could also set up GTA race and one of us can leave their ps3 on overnight while the other does kills. Then switch off so that the other can get kills while allowing being away from the ps3. If that makes any sense.

Man I remember NOOSEing. almost 1000 rounds. I don't think I ever wanna play GTA4 again after that.

I am not looking forward to this daunting task. I am only at level 4 so I have alot of noosing ahead of me. I just finished off all the offline trophies, so only team game wins, AWP, and WANTED! left to do. Been working on AWP slowly marking things off that checklist. Team wins work towards AWP so I am definitely looking for help on the team based wins if anyone wants to help out. Also if anyone wants to noose with me and KeithFusco it would help pass the time.

Yeah, it was late for me too. I think the GTA race thing sounds good, but it'd take a while to get some decent cash. I wonder what the longest deathmatch time you can select, as that seems to be the best for cash boosting.

Would be good to get three people for the Noose. I'd say four, but there's only three people can fit in the helicopter, the other player has to fly the other copter to the checkpoint and wait, but I'm sure we can get another person in to help.
