Has anyone heard of this issue and if there is a recall on it?
In my RotK case I have two Part Two extended edition blurays....there is not a Part One. I put both discs in to confirm and yes it was not a printing error, both are part two. Anyone know of this? Best Buy probably won't end up exchanging it because I bought these back in December when they were on the $50 deal. I haven't had an opportunity to watch all of them yet because they're so freaking long and my girlfriend isn't a fan. Just brought the RotK in today at work to play on the 70" Sharp (i sell tvs) and noticed this problem. |

maybe it will be repackaged with the corrections.

Don't know. I do know that it has nothing to do with being recalled. When an item is removed from the inventory of a store/retailer, it's something with the retailer, not the studio.
Target, Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart ... they are all guilty of this. I do know that the NCIS DVD sets are still readily available and yet Best Buy has elected to remove all mention of the DVD sets from the main series from their website, meaning that they no longer sell it. Many reasons could explain this and it might be that the retailer's distributor no longer has it available to ship to stores. The studio still releases these titles, it's the retailer who decides to no longer sell them for some reason. I would point your anger to that retailer, not the studio. |

You are correct, but if you haven't cleaned up your cache it should still show up on the side of the recently viewed. As far as price matching at Best Buy, it is definitely a YMMV with them. I tend to have more success with my local one than one in neighboring areas. I had some issues back when BB had their $5 off and Target had the Back to the Future trilogy on sale for $15. Most stores I went to considered that double dipping and so did my local store, but the manager approved it anyway. I'm 45, so to me your all whipper snappers

Eh, idk. I'll have to look hard. I'm pretty certain i bought it w/ my BB credit card though so they should be able to look it up through that i would hope. You can tell everything has not been used, there's not a figerprint or scratch on anything. I'll probably have to wait until monday to take it back since i work until close today and tomorrow open-close.

Second, you can contact WB support and have a replacement disc shipped right to your door with a quick e-mail or phone call. I've done this with several WB discs over the last 5 years without hassle. A 2 or 3 minute phone call or a 4 sentence e-mail and the disc arrives in less than a week at my house. Talk about "no hassle." |
