Default Sequels on blu-ray when the first one isn't

Poison Ivy: Secret Society
Bring It On: Fight To The Finish
Another Cinderella Story (I don't count the two-movies-on-one-disc for the first movie)

Are there any others?

Sometimes the sequels are released first and the original comes out later.

Example: X-men 3 was out first
TMNT (boxset was released later)

Also, some tv series have not had earlier seasons on blu-ray. Obvious examples are South Park and Family Guy has only released certain special episodes on blu.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse was released a year before Resident Evil, which is why it has an MPEG-2 encode and the rest do not.

Though it was rectified a couple of years back... Shrek 3 was out long before Shrek 1-2 came out on Blu.

Also recently rectified was the Superman series... where they originally only released Superman, Superman II, and Superman Returns... they had skipped III and IV as well as the theatrical II until releasing the box set years later.

Not exactly the same, but Rush Hour and Rush Hour 3 are both on BD--and part 2 still isn't.

Oh yeah, and Lake Placid 2 is on blu, but Fox skipped the original.

I have to agree that these topics are getting very ridiculous. Everyone already knows that studios will release current films on Blu-ray before they release older titles to Blu-ray, so that they can capitalize on current theatrical films after their recent theatrical run.

This is a surprise to everyone? This even happens with DVD releases. It's no conspiracy. It's just common knowledge. This even happens with television shows. I wonder why the original Battlestar Galactica series has never been released to Blu-ray.

The Crow: City of Angels came out a few month's before The Crow

Escape from L.A. was out before New York

Final Destination 1 and The Final Destination came out before 2 & 3 in the U.S.

Freddy vs Jason was the only one featuring both titans of Horror before some of their solo ventures got released.

Gods & Generals came before Gettysburg, but from a story point of view GG was first......

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers / and in April Resurrection, but no Halloween III, 4 or 5 yet.......

Hellraiser III & Deaded are MIA

The Bond series is always released out of wack!

The Road Warrior before Mad Max and Beyond Thunderdome is still unavalible

Rocky and Rocky Balboa only until the box set came out.

The Santa Clause 3, where the hell is 1 & 2

Not sure if this counts, but no individual releases of Star Trek III, V, or any of the Next Gen series can be got w/o buying the box sets.

Star Wars: Special Editions / No Originals!!!!!!!

Dawn of the Dead and every other Romero zombie movie, has been released but there has not been an official US release of the one that started it all, Night of the Living Dead
Evil Dead 2 was available before The Evil Dead

I was going to say that one and Spider man 3 was on Blu Ray before the first two

There's a good reason for that. Paramount witnessed III, V, Generations, and Insurrection lose money. So, they saw no need for individual releases. This is why I, II, IV, and VI saw individual releases.
