Default Blu-ray 3D specific cases

Any idea where I can find these "Blu-ray 3D" cases for sale in 1-disc, 2-disc, and 3-disc versions?

Can you tell me what is the mm size of the spine of the single disc case that custom cover designers generally design for if they were designing for a single disc case?

You are saying that either of the two sizes and makes would work? A custom cover design for a single disc case would fit either case, the 11 or the 12.5

Not quite. Vortex cases need a cover that is 3118 x 1748 while Viva Elites need a cover that is 3173 x 1762.

Sounds like: If I were going to use a designer's covers and going to order cases for that purpose, to ask the designer which to get.

Thanks, that is what I am going to do.

A big thanks to you all

--------------------------------------

I just contacted the designer and was told his custom covers are 3118x1748 which is the Vortex case

Thanks, guys

Hey all, quick question for those of you who have ordered from Casetopia.

I'm looking to replace all my crappy XBOX 360 eco cases. i had ordered some from USPlastics awhile back and they arrived not packed very well and some of the artwork sleeves were ripped/scratched etc. Generally kind of beat up looking. (to their credit they did offer replacements)

How does stuff arrive from Casetopia? For example I love Discmakers and everything Ive gotten from them is minty fresh and packed well.

thanks!

Actually, I've measured both Viva & Vortex cases myself, and the height of the overlay is a consistent 5 & 7/8", or 1762 pixels.

I got a box of 100 assorted cases from them, and everything was fine. No cracked or damaged cases that I recall, and any empty space in the box was stuffed with newspaper.

Are the Elite cases from Discmakers the same design as the Eco elite cases besides the cut out? Are they sturdy like some of the early Warner bro cases were?

Apologize if this has already been asked countless times. I'm curious because i really like them and I'm in need of them to replace the Eco cases.

Thanks!

They're the same standard Elite cases which were originally used by the studios. So yes, they're just like the Elite eco cases minus the cutouts or thinner material.

I measured both brands myself, multiple times, and I use almost all Vortex cases, because they're slightly thinner, and it adds up quickly. As for the width, I had to do numerous tests with that as well, until I finally got everything done right. Here's the results...

Viva Elite 1-3 Disc Case: 3196 (1540 + 116 + 1540) x 1760
Vortex 1-2 Disc Case: 3210 (1540 + 130 + 1540) x 1760
Vortex 3-4 Disc Case: 3230 (1540 + 150 + 1540) x 1760
Vortex 5-6 Disc Case: 3300 (1540 + 220 + 1540) x 1760

Note: The Viva cases are actually thicker than Vortex, but because the front and back panels are designed slightly different, the numbers came out lower.

Sorry to ask but I don't want to read through all the pages.

I have bought over 300 blu-rays from blockbuster and I need to buy blu-ray cases for them. Actually with my friend, I think we have over 500.

So, from going through few links, Disc Makers seem to have the best prices. But does anyone know any better deals like other site having coupons or free shipping, etc when buying large quantities like 500?

With this amount, I am leaning more to cheaper price than quality. So I am probably going to buy the "Vortex eco-lite" cases. I really don't know the differences though. Is this the same kind of case used by the studios? From reading some posts, I guess this is slimmer than others. Does that mean the cover from the official blu-ray movies will not fit? (all the talk of custom cover from previous posts is making it confusing )

I just found out that you can recycle all Blu-Ray cases in common household recycling bins, so I recycled the 30+ Eco cases I have replaced.
