Default Question about changing hard drive in ps3

I have a 40 gb and i bought a wd 160gb sata 5400 internal. I want to change out my drive but wonder if i will lose my downloads i have purchased such as add ons and games like hv bowling and pain. Can anyone tell me how to change drive and keep my games i purchased?

All you have to do is upload it onto a flash drive or somethin' and replace the HDD and upload the files from your flash drive or whatever.

I don't really know, whatever flashdrive or memory card that has enough for any stored content on your drive will do fine.

any games/dlc that youve bought from the psn store can be re-downloaded since youve paid for them already.just go to your purchase history and dowload them again.the only thing that would need back up are game saves.
