Chip, to be honest, standard BD box with slip is enough for me!

I don't usually splurge on things like this, but that case is just too cool. The fact that it's an actual zombie death from the season pushed me over the edge and I just placed my order.

You'd think differently if you saw his Walking Dead figures that just came out.

No effort at all.

I have not seen them, but usually his figures are pretty nice! Granted I'm talking about the first few Spawn lines that came out loooooooong ago. A shame they've gone south.
How exactly does one mess up an undead zombie?? You would think there would be plenty of room for error there!

There is two series:

The Walking Dead TV-Show Figures

The Walking Dead Comic Figures

The Comic Figures series looks cheap... But the TV Series ones are not too bad, but not perfect.

I am a big McFarlane and NECA collector. I saw these figures at Toys R Us the other day when shopping for my God son's birthday and I was actually laughing at what McFarlane did.

Worst looking figures. They look like something Playmates or Bandai would make.

I think the last figures I collected were the original Star Wars line waaaay back in the day! I'm no expert, but figures have definitely come a long way since then, that's for sure!
I'm a big collector of Sideshow statues! I'll have my 40th statue later on this year! A shame Sideshow doesn't have a Walking Dead license! Based on some of their other "zombie/undead" statues, it would like pretty nice I'd wager. Especially if they did a "vs." diorama, much like the Marvel Vs. line.
You never know!
So we still don't know when, or IF, the season 2 BD will have a 'Special Edition' yet?

I'm really shocked so many folks are salivating to own the new special edition "zombie head" case. Can't they see the seam running right up the center of the thing?!? I can. Then again, I've been buying/collecting toys (new & antique) for decades, and McFarlane is one of the absolute WORST offenders when it comes to having stuff look worse in person (and, often much, MUCH worse).

Couple that with my disinterest in over-sized mega-sets with a couple pounds of extra crap I'll never use included, and....I'll wait for the regular edition.

Maybe you guys don't remember that [SARCASM] really freakin' cool [/SARCASM] zombie mask that came with the first box set re-release!

That zombie head is badass but not something I would actually buy, I'll be picking up the standard release.

Now "Lord of the Rings" sure had some fine sculptures but this one takes the cake. I will own this.

I can't belive I still haven't pked up the first series yet. I've decided to import the 3 disc edition of season 1 because the UK one sucks, with it's censored episodes, it's like they took a meat clever to it! :unimpresed:

Good job I have a region free player...

Shouldn't be a problem with the second season though. But I still might not pick it up straight away incase a double dip comes along again. If there are commentary's on the season 2 disc from the get go then I will pick it up.

Anyone else notice that Zombie Head packaging is not showing on Amazon anymore? I see the Let Me In DVD.

I wonder if it's been removed for being too graphic?? Definitely not on Amazon's site, as you said!

I haven't had such problems with them personally. With something this large, I imagine it'll be shipped pretty well.

I do hope everyone submits the price to Amazon though as it's more likely they will match it if enough people do.
