Has anyone sent them a valentine's day gift? I was thinking maybe a white sheet and a flag pole. They can't seem to find theirs and they desperately need it.

Edit: I don't know if this would be in good fashion because I am sure that the point is near that heads will roll, but certainly I know many businesses that would not be shy to send a gag gift to their competitors after 1 up-ing them so severely.

LOL, that's good thinking but I don't think he meant that, maybe he did. Although if you look at Universal's track record of releases last year, and then look at the almost-nothing released this year, something is up.

I can't see how Universal and Paramount can hold out much more. They will soon have no stores to be rented in (Netflix online too), and certainly losing valuable space at Best Buy. Gee, who knows what's next but this was one exciting Monday, a ahhhhhhh sweet reminders of January 4 (Independence Day) hehe. What drives me nuts is waiting for the next news after it has been hinted at

I've been thinking about this sentence and I wonder if it's more revealing than intended. Specifically the use of logistics. In the 2 announcements yesterday, and other similar retailer type announcements, there really isn't much logistics involved. You make the decision and move forward. On the other hand, a studio flip would require lots of logistics and you'd be hard pressed to have everything in place for a timing effect, so a studio flip would seem to fit sentence better than others.

That said, on that point P-Man doesn't need to say anything as the HD DVD release schedule says it all:

Universals' only scheduled day & date release is next next week, then nothing. Paramounts' last scheduled day & date release is April 1st, and then again nothing. That's all the logistics you need to know.
