thanks for the pictures, i had the same thing in HD DVD a while ago.. however i dont see the point in keeping the 2nd disc of extras to themselves..

lol whats the point? at least take off DISC 1 from the surface of the disc if they are going to produce new covers for the same movie

So I just called Future Shop's customer service and apparently I can't use my $10 off online code to pre-order their FS exclusive for Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol. I told the rep that nowhere in my e-mail did it state that I couldn't use the code on FS's exclusive, but he told me that it was only valid for the regular BD release and the DVD.

This was the code that I received for pre-ordering The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo awhile back.

last week i was at futureshop in chatham. they had a whole shelf of inception steelbooks. regualr price 34.99 marked down to 17.99. at the cash they still scaned in at full price 34.99. so they gave to me for 17.99-10 for scop so got brand new inception steelbook for 7.99. they still had tons of them left.

Probably just as well. That would have been the single disc edition.

The early 2-disc release can be found online for pretty cheap, $10 give or take, awesome extras, the single disc just has a commentary.

Especially when they're both the same price! Go to the store on release day and see what happens.

personally i would never pay an extra 6.00 to get this movie...actually most movies i wouldnt care about the extras. I'm lucky if I watch special features on more than 1 for every 10 movies i watch...most of the time if i watch anything above the movie its the trailers

I can't say the same. Extras often make or break my decision to buy the movie, or hold out for a better release (or try to track down the DVD version with more extras, for example: Commando)

I wouldn't really consider it paying $6 extra. I mean, it's not like $3.99 is the regular price for any of the M:I movies, they usually hover around $10-15. Right now they're on sale for $9 with a limited time Trade-In offer.

Hmm, either the CSR is wrong or the promo only works in store for the FS exclusive. A footnote on page 15 of the March 16-22 flyer clearly states that the $10 coupon can be used towards the following SKUs: M2194693, M2195385, M2194694, valid April 17-23, in-store only.

Also, I purchased TGWTDT in stores on release day and my receipt states:

With this receipt, you are eligible for a $10 credit towards the purchase of any Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol DVD or BD combo from April 17-23, 2012.
