I've only watched the show one time and it's not my kind of entertainment, but does it have a lot of replay value? I don't get why Fox is putting this out and not putting out New Girl.

I know it probably has more fans as of now, but doesn't Glee tend to skew pretty young? To me, while New Girl didn't have huge numbers, the core audience is the exact group of people most likely to watch tv in HD and buy blu-rays.

The thing is, Glee is filled with spectacle. Many of the performances demand to be seen in HD (see, the Michael Jackson episode). New Girl doesn't have any of that. Fox probably figures that most people will be content with that show on dvd...

This. It's a very visceral experience watching the series. Also the soundtrack on the blu-ray is Fantastic!

FOX hasn't really accepted BD for TV titles in terms of sitcoms. Modern Family and It's Always Sunny are the only ones I can think of they've put out. Raising Hope also has a DVD only release.

I won't be getting this season. It seemed to fail in a lot of ways. It was very inferior to the last two seasons...

I had purchased the first two seasons... and just sold them off. The show just transformed into an hour long commercial and I've been increasingly disappointed in the quality of the program.

I own the show's first 2 seasons on DVD, mostly due to price...But considering the same happened for Fringe and I own season 3 on Blu, and Smallville where I have seasons 9 and 10 on Blu, perhaps I will somehow nab season 3 of Glee on Blu.

I watched the episode where they won Nationals and I was impressed at the quality of the show. My other half is a big fan!

Interesting. I thought S2 was the one that has faltered the most.
