Really happy about 4, love that movie.

But do I get 5? Hmm... It would be for completest sake alone because I really don't like it that much, apart from not being very good it wastes the great ending from 4 (which I think is a good way to end the series,) but if it has good extras I might be swayed.

Its funny how many people are complaining about the price. This is Anchor Bay/Starx we're talking about. Every catalog title they've released have been on sale sub-$10 within a couple months of release. So, the real question is, can you wait (I'm guessing these'll be $9.99 sometime near Halloween)?

I normally don't import either but it's the way to go for NOES. Trust me man, you won't regret it.

I have a few imports that I got off the Amazon US site but other than that I usually don't import things either but I am seriously considering it for The Elm Street box setas I highly doubt Warner/NewLine is going to release that set in the US any time soon. I will be ordering that set sometime this week. I trust its worth it if I am a fan of freddy. Now back to Halloween 4&5 I will be picking up both but I like 4 much better than 5. Now I will probably get these on release day but I know they will most likely be on sale during the Halloween season hmmm to wait or not to wait

Consider doing it. Nobody knows if/when the NOES films will get a release in the states (I'm sure eventually but no firm announcement or plans have been made) and the set from the UK is fantastic. Amazon.co.uk is easy as pie to order from. I place an order and have it within 3-5 business days usually (I live in NYC so it might be quicker shipping as a result) but the cost is also extremely low - all the films are included. The discs are region free. It's really a no-brainer. It's really worth looking into. Heck, if it's the shipping costs that bug you wait a while until there's a handful of titles you want and pick them up at the same time.

I've got a small list building of UK releases we haven't had out in the US. I'll probably place another order in a few months.

These are coming out in August too, so while I don't plan on marathoning the Halloween films until October... that gives me at least 4-6 weeks to wait for a price drop. This is also around the time best buy is supposedly doing another one of their trade-in DVD promotions, so they'll possibly be available for 10-13$ or so.

I can't wait to find out what features are included. Maybe new commentaries? The commentaries on the Divimax DVDs are great. Ellie Cornell and Danielle Harris did one for part 4, and they didn't remember anything from the shoot most of the time. It was really funny to listen to.

I would advise my fellow Halloween lovers to wait, if even for a little while... prices drop considerably even as quick as a week after release. Just look how quick the price for resurrection fell a month or so back,

These are must-buys for me... Finally, the Michael Myers movies will all be in blu-ray for me and while I wish a lot of them had better transfers, they are far better than what is available on DVD or shown on television.

That's what I'm going to do. I really want to pick them up but I know they'll drop conciderably within a month or so.

Well the reason Reserrection dropped so quickly because it's ech bridge and what they did to H20 and h6 it's no wonder it dropped down.

Sounds great so far!

It would be nice if the commentary tracks from 4 & 5 Divimax DVD's were ported over to the blu's. Even nicer if the extras came with, but I won't hold my breath.

I'm sure they will (have a good feeling).

I'm dying to see the list of the new extras! Oh, the possibilities!

I don't understand the complaints. You can buy both of these for the same price of a Twilight Time title. I'm buying them when they are released.

What I love is how people wish for these titles to come out on Blu-ray and then after YEARS of waiting the titles are finally announced and then people complain about the price and then want to wait even longer for a lame $5 price drop.

Is that waiting worth 2 cups of coffee and an donut?.

I am buying them the minute they come out as well. I've waited long enough for these cult classic films to get HD.
