Could somebody be kind enough to upload a picture of the back cover art of the Umbrella Entertainment version?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

If one of you who has the US Anchor Bay picks up the Umbrella, can you please compare them for us?

Specifically I'd like to see the Special Features compared and most importantly, the picture and audio quality. Is the Umbrella with the original colors?

Keen to get the Umbrella version. Is it a step up?

Thanks for that. I can see that it lists the "Cut Above the Rest" featurette but no mention of the "Halloween Unmasked 2000" featurette that was on the release from BHE.

Hmm.

I just spent about 10 minutes comparing the two versions, this is what Ive noticed at a quick glance:

- Halloween Unmasked 2000 is missing from the Umbrella disc.

- I dont see a great deal, if any, detail wise between the two.

- BHE is more darker and colour saturated. Not a bad thing, probably makes it look more modern than what it is if anything.

- UE seems to have lots of noticable speckles, vertical lines etc.

- BHE menu is slightly louder.

Imo the BHE release is an excellent disc. They are both good for different reasons. But I guess it will just come down to personal preference.

Edit: I did intend to keep the BHE cover and swap the discs. But upon this quick examination, Im just going to make a 2 disc set.

When I watched this (Umbrella edition), I noticed that there were 2 frames where there were major damage in the middle of the shot. They are quick, and I don't remember exactly what scenes were they in. Does anybody here have had this happen during their viewing experience?

Are you talking about the infamous hair? -

If so then not only is it evident on the Umbrella edition but just about every other Blu-Ray released thus far world wide, including on the most recent 35th Anniversary edition which was just released last year and which that video I posted is sourced from.

Nope not that, it looked like a glitch of sort. It was large and in the middle of the frame, it went by quite quick.
