Yep, I'm very impressed overall with them as well. The first shows its age in a few places, but the second and third are a major improvement.

This is probably the only triple feature type packaging I would consider buying.

I was gonna get the Ocean's trilogy, but I own the DVDs and according to several sites the PQ isn't a great upgrade since the films are over-saturated and noisy.

I think the Ocean's BD's are a decent upgrade, personally.

I mean, here's a comparison between the DVD and the HD-DVD for Ocean's Eleven, and the BD looks better than the HD-DVD:

Worth the upgrade for the colors alone, in my opinion.

It's in a display case by the phones, far side of the blus, at my Walmart. Someone else said its in a similar location in theirs. Did you check that area?

Thanks for posting these pics.

Can someone who got this Blu-Ray set, post a pic of the case open? I would like to know how the Blu-Rays are placed in the case. Are they like the tripped dvd pack where there was 2 DVDs on one side (one on top of another) or is it like blu-rays where there is a flipper holder for the 2nd disc??

Thanks for letting Us know. I hope they are not sold out when I got to FS to pick it up at the end of this month.

It's a three disc blu ray case. Not the thick one that have been coming out lately, but the thinner one.

Yep, just a 3-disc Viva Elite case with a flipper page in the middle; nothing too fancy.

Thanks for the replay, am happy that its an Elite case with a flipper. I think this is a lot better then having one disc on top of another. And am thankful its not an Eco case!!!!

Does your player show detailed stats? Otherwise how else could you tell between 1.78 and 1.85, as most TVs have overscan that make the two indistinguishable??

It used to be an issue with older televisions but now most new televisions can be set to eliminate overscan (e.g. full pixel or 1:1 pixel mapping) if it wasn't already the default setting.
