The Road Warrior (Mad Max 2, 1981) Blu-ray reissue 2012. What happened?

Since the new sequels will start filming soon, I imagine they'll wait to reissue it until the first one is released.

Exactly. Expect a Movie Cash reissue right before Fury Road opens (with hopefully a Beyond Thunderdome Blu tossed in for good measure).

My point was that if it's a re-release that it's probably going to be same as the 2007 disc. I mean this is Warner we're talking about. For example, they have released the identical disc three different times with Unforgiven and Goodfellas.

It's readily available now. $17 new on eBay and $12 used.

upon know a lot of these discontinued blu rays can be found on eBay. What I meant was regular retail stores. Sorry I didn't clear that up.

I'm not bashing it, I'm just saying I don't remember any major setpiece or action sequence that stood out like the finale of 'Mad Max 2' (aka The Road Warrior)
