Girls, even if you don't like it has been doing well and is critically acclaimed. Both Girls and Veep were renewed after two or three episodes.

Girls after 3 episodes because critics are on Dunham like white on rice. She's their hip flavor of the month, if you will. The ratings have not been particularly strong even with the huge lead in of
Game of Thrones and now
True Blood. The re-run of
True Blood at 11pm beat out
Girls last sunday. It is one of HBO's weaker original programing shows in terms of ratings currently.

Bored to Death.
