I have the Anchor Bay dvd but was thinking of picking up the double edition also, thanks for the reminder. Didn't know it was a Shout release.

One of my all time favorite soundtracks! And one of the most underrated horror movies and soundtracks ever.

The only thing missing that potentially could have made it epic was a topless scene for Stacey... what? I can't be the only one who thought she was beyond cute!

Yeah, but this was meant to turn the franchise into an anthology series. Had it been as successful as the original films Halloweens 4-? probably would have been very interesting... Does anyone have any box office data for this film?

Both pre-ordered. Can't wait, especially for H3.

Waiting for this beast to show up on PlanetAxel. Halloween II is up, but not this. I'm staring at it and swearing at it now and then, but it doesn't help.

I didn't think H2O was bad, just suffered from an awful, awful score.

Shame they didn't leave the original Ottman score on it, rather than tossing most of it in the bin, in favor of recycled cues from Scream and Mimic.

Default just thinking out loud ...

I won't pay the current $20.95 for this at Amazon unless the A/V quality of this transfer is near reference. BTW I am tempted to watch my DVD of H3 and I probably should watch it on my main home theater system before this BD is released so I have a frame of reference.

SF titles are normally on the "expensive" side ($15-$20), but they do good work on titles that aren't going to sell hundreds of thousands of copies.
