i guess we will get it along with the little mermaid bluray trailer on Cinderella

We should get the Aladdin trailer before Cinderella though, we got lady and the tramp beforehand on Bambi II, then on TLK we got the two trailers.

There were no new trailers. The only trailers were:
- Disney Studio All Access
- The Avengers (theatrical, not blu-ray)
- Frankenweenie (theatrical)
- Disney Movie Rewards
- Castle Season 4 DVD

That's it

Hey guys, "Long time" reader of this thread, first time commenting.

I may only be (recently) 24, but the Disney films of the late 80s/90s do touch me and am so excited that they are coming to Blu. Already preordered: Rescuers Double pack, Cinderella (combo pack w/ Digital copy), The Great Mouse Detective, Cinderella II/Cinderella III, The Aristocats, & Hocus Pocus.

Waiting to preorder: Pete's Dragon, Aladdin, TLM

Just waiting: Bedknobs & Broomsticks, Mary Poppins, Robin Hood, The Black Cauldron, Peter Pan, & I'm sure there are a TON that I'm missing/forgetting. And a Brave Little Toaster 3-pack Blu would be cool, not sure if thats Disney or not.

It's not Disney but it was distributed by Disney, so I see where the mistake comes from. (Besides, anyone else who thought that movie was utterly and terrifyingly disturbing?)

I don't like the cover for "Merida". Much better material available. And no slipcover for the regular release? Meh.

Somehow I missed this news ...

Is this why the US still hasn't got a releasedate? Does this mean a better HD-version will be available? I wonder.

Really hoping this is real. It looks genuine, but I looked around the net all day and the only evidence I could find of this anywhere was the Argentinian site where that image was posted--and even they didn't have any info to go with the poster.

But yeah, from the second they started re-releasing Disney films in 3D I said that Tarzan should be done, considering how amazing a few of those jungle scenes will look. Didn't really think it would happen though, considering Tarzan is one of the more neglected films.

I wonder how long most of these releases will take to show up as enrollment titles on DMC...

It would be smart for disney to put out Tarzan in theaters. I think the movie has gained quite an audience and really is one of the movies for everyone to enjoy.

Just watched Pocahontas again today.. I was disappointed because the stupid music masterpiece edition the UK had did not have a single special feature, or even if I never knew you.. -_-"

Thinking about it, to those of you who think Brave was really bad.. Brave currently has an average 74% on Rotten Tomatoes.. Pocahontas has 56%, while Madagascar 3 has 76%.. Just to show everyone that ratings don't matter.

My sister asked me in the middle of the movie how their love blossomed within a day.. My reply was: "Who wouldn't fall in love with Pocahontas, I mean, she took him on one amazing first date.."

Did you watch a DVD version? With the lack of extras you describe?

By the way, everyone who thinks RottenTomatoes is a superb indicator of ratings, think again; mainly, RT weighs what percentage of critics seem to like the movie, not what grade those critics give them. Metacritic in it's place interprets numerical scores from reviews that don't even have them and adds them up.

So RT is basically "3 people liked it allright. 4 didn't. 42% score.
Metacritic is: "Reviewer #3 wrote that he thought it was allright. That indicates that he gives it a 60 score."

So just try to decide for yourself each time if a movie is worth it, and use the rating sites only to see what professional moviegoers think of them!

WHen I go to watch movies in theaters I go by Rotten tomatoes. If the movie is above a 60% then I should go. Unless if it's animation, I just go to any of them because my brother wants to go.

I'm trying to track down the Sleeping Beauty and Pinocchio Platinum BDs since those are the only DAC films that I'm missing in BD (with the exception of Dinosaur, Home on the Range and Chicken Little which I don't like) but they are very expensive in the Amazon marketplace page. Any recommendations where to find new or like new copies at good prices? Thanks
