One of my summer projects is The Killing which Im enjoying very much. This long, seasonal approach to solving one crime is so much more satisfying than the solve a murder in 43 minutes approach.

I didnt notice any words being beeped...maybe its done on the provider level.

I have DirecTV and I always watch the premier showing of each episode and they have never bleeped anything out. From what I've gathered on other forums, A&E bleeps and edits episodes after the premier of each new episode. So anytime they show a repeat (even if it's the encore later at night) it will be edited.

A&E Renews Western 'Longmire' for Second Season

Quote:
The cable network has given renewal orders to the Western drama starring Robert Taylor and Katee Sackhoff, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The Wyoming-set drama marks the third series renewal for studio Warner Horizon Television on Friday alone, following TNT's Rizzoli & Isles and Dallas.

Created by John Coveny and Hunt Baldwin and based on the book by Craig Johnson, the drama that marked Battlestar Galactica alum Sackhoff's return to series TV opened well out of the gate four weeks ago.

The premiere's 4.1 million total viewers ranks as A&E's most-watched scripted series debut ever and the highest-rated new cable scripted hourlong drama of the year in viewers and adults 25-54. Longmire's most recent outing drew 3.8 million total viewers.

Longmire airs at 10 p.m. Sundays on A&E.
Great news! I hope they release the show on blu-ray.

That would explain it as I usually DVR the late night/early morning showings for a lot of shows. It still doesn't make a lot of sense?
