Default The Long, Hot Summer: Once again, we get screwed.

I'm amazed at how many classics made in the US get released outside of the US first. At very least, titles should be released the same day for everbody. Sure, sometimes we get an announcement just a few days later, but more often than not, we just end up wondering if and when it will make it here. Not only that, but the whole "who has the better transfer" thing is just as insane. It's rather amazing that in 2012, the studios still have their heads up their collective asses.

The problem is that each region is ran independently. Warner US, Warner UK, etc. You're right about the superior International titles. I didn't realize there were so many better versions of certain BDs abroad until I started maintaining the thread.
