Favorite doesn't mean best. That's more my list of the best films than it is a favorites list. There are many many movies that I have affection for, but don't consider them to be great examples of craft. The one cheat on my list is The Little Mermaid, because the animation pales against many films before and after, but it has great sincerity and terrific music. Sincerity goes a long, long way with me, which is why I have such love for the Pixar films. Still, if I had to change or drop a movie on my list to make it more conforming to animation greatness as opposed to say, story, music and characters, I'd drop Mermaid in exchange for probably Hunchback.
