I've just pre-ordered. At that price it works out at less than £5 per film, and I don't have any of them on DVD so it's a nice bargain. Let's hope the transfers are decent. (It's Universal, so I'm not keeping my hopes up, but even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day...)

I only see the booklet mentioned on play.com. Nowhere on Amazon UK.

Ignore my last post, I see the booklet mentioned at Amazon Uk now, near the top in small writing.

I wonder when we will find out if this set does contain the Spanish Dracula...
I hope that it does so I can maintain my UK pre-order - if it does not, I may have to wait a little longer to pick this set up and cancel this pre-order. I may then end up buying stand alone versions of Frank, Bride & Dracula (both versions). The rest are more filler than anything else to me... |

Looks like Universal has started region locking some titles. David Lynch boxset that came out last month in the UK is locked to Region B. Also the movie Eraserhead is locked. Hope this is not the case with the Universal monsters. Id like to use it in both my region A and B machines.

It had an identical line up to this Blu-Ray. However the only real difference between the UK and USA version was the region 1 had the Spanish Drac, but the region 2 didn't. I remember searching around for a reason at the time but never found an answer. Is there possibly a rights issue for Europe? ![]() |
