well the other tread is about Disney movies on Blu-ray, not How I rate Disney movies. The reason for this explanation is that if everybody talks about whatever they want on a thread, at the end the forum becomes useless for people that come looking for info. A little deviation is human, but threads turning into something else, thats why there's search functions, different forums and create thread buttons :>

Hey, friends - you know what's worse than scoring 5 Disney Blu-Rays in 24 hours?

Well, lots of things, obviously. But try this on for size....

Scoring 5 Disney/Pixar animated feature Blu-Rays, one of which you don't want to open because there's some small thing rattling around inside of it and you need to talk to Disney before you open it, PLUS you're trapped at your in-laws, who hate Disney movies, so even if you could open the one you really want to watch, you couldn't watch it anyway.

All five of them...just SITTING there...

rrrrrrrhgh. Man, I thought I was in a bad mood after getting only 5 hours of sleep. Now it's confirmed. I'm in a horrible mood. I'm a groomsman in a wedding, and I feel hungover before the bachelor party even begins.

Looking at the 5-stack I can't watch ain't helping things.

torturous. also, when I emailed disney about slipcovers, they said it would be $3.95 per slipcover. I have no idea if they'll send you a case, but you can more than likely find the same case on amazon.

I thought it was $3.95 for the first one, $1.00 for each additional.

Maybe, they didn't specify. This is what I recieved after inquiring about several slipcovers:

Yes, you can buy slipcovers (O-sleeves) directly from Disney, and I can vouch for the $3.95 for the first item, $1.00 for each additional item, such as cases, inserts, etc. (except for actual replacement discs or replacement Digital Copy codes, which are also available but are priced differently).

It's pretty handy. I idiotically purchased the Tron: Legacy 5-disc, 2-movie collection without a slipcover ('twas on sale AND I had a gift card), so I called them up, figured out what I needed to do, and soon enough, I had the slipcover I needed.

The Tron Legacy slipcover I requested from Disney was lenticular. Received it, no problem.

Yes, you can order spares of pretty much all the usual stuff. Again, slipcovers, cases, inserts, etc. are $3.95 for the first item, $1 for each additional item. Replacement discs and Digital Copy codes are also available, but for a higher price.

However, non-standard items and parts are usually not available. For example, I wanted the Lion King Trilogy on Blu, but I hated the accordion-style wallet in the limited edition box set. I asked if I could buy the standalone versions, but then order the embossed trilogy box separately, but they said that part wasn't showing up in their systems as being available separately.

Dunno about international shipping.

Could I buy like the cover art that's inside the case? I have the Cars 2 Globe Edition and I wanted to put it in a case

I would assume so; you can give them a call or shoot them an email to make sure. Personally, I don't know if that would justify a $3.95 cost, so hopefully you have other things you could possibly order from them at the same time, or I'd wait until you do.

Then again, I've never ordered a case or cover art from them. Maybe they come together?
