So yeah just check the back of the BD cases it will tell you which one the movie is in.
I don't beleive we have ever discussed the black bar issue before. How do I get rid of them? They are cutting off the picture. I want the whole picture to fill my TV. I bought a larger TV a year ago thinking that the black bars would then go away but they are still there! What gives?

Plus One damn it! Will someone please help me? I'm getting desperate. Maybe I need to go one up to the largest TVs. Ya. Thats what I'll do tomorrow morning.

I'll keep you guys posted incase you are all having the same problem which you must be unless my settings on the Panny BD player are off or something. I feel better already. Be back tomorrow with the great news!

Youll have to get a TV with a 2.35:1 ratio not 16:9 like most widscreen TVs. Im not even sure if such a tv is made. That would be the only way to get rid of black bars.

Wow, all this noobness is outstanding.. I never would have figured we would have members with 1000-2000+ posts that still can't figure out aspect ratios and wanting to modify their display... Haha wow. I figured at Blu-ray.com we would have a forum full of audio/video enthusiasts.. Little did I know. I must be on a PS3 forum or something

Do you guys even understand those bars are there so you see More of the picture? You are Not losing anything and you Are getting full 1080p from the source material itself... and FYI grain is a GOOD thing.

Anyway, here are some great looking titles to fill those 16x9 screens.. These should keep you guys happy

Apocalypto
The Condemned
Crank
House of 1000 Corpses
The Messengers
Scooby-Doo
World Trade Center

Sorry to sound like an *******. Hopefully you guys where kidding around but if so, it's hard to tell...

Hands Down the Most Impressive so far has to BE!!!:

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix!!

Only comparable to the Digital transfers of the above mentioned CGI movies on BLuray..
Criystal clear and vivid as it gets ...

for being such a subpar movie, I Know Who Killed Me has become probably my best BD. Then again I only own 5 of them.

But the picture is so clear I almost think Lohan is real and the audio is so clear and so unbelieveable its like being in the movie.
