United Kingdom hearing some disturbing news about some cuts by BBFC on Dark Knight Rises?

A person clame they have cut 34 seconds. Cutting up one of the biggest movies in history that is just to damn stupid just to get a 12A rating

we can all hope the UNCUT version will be released on bluray or i am gonna be

I'm surprised they wouldn't have a 15 option alongside the 12A rating.

Edit: Just read Vertigo's post. Good news

Might have been pre-cut by Warners. Who knows, maybe there will be no cuts at all.

Heh. This is gonna be like Dark Knight all over again. "They cut the Joker killing that guy!" "Er, no they didn't" etc etc.

I think its safe to say this movie will have a significant gross with it just by riding on the coattails of The Dark Knight, regardless of whether it is actually any good.

Yeah. I agree with biggest grossing but 'best' is a bold statement.

The more they cut out of it the better, TDK was very boring and too long.

Nope, the BBFC notes when that's the case. They're very open about cuts and alternative versions. The Dark Knight Rises is being released completely uncut in the UK. I'm also not sure why this thread is in the blu-ray section.

Interesting thread, from an individual that doesn't even live in the UK, but has a strange fascination with the BBFC and what they're NOT doing.
