The question is though does the majority of the fan base want another Nemo film? Because up until this new came along I don't think anyone expected Pixar to make a sequel to Nemo because it didn't need it.

I have nothing against prequels/sequels, if anything I quite like more, but I do worry that the company that were famous for refusing to do too many sequels is now doing just that and all at once. The point is instead of Nemo 2 we could be having another original film, something which Pixar really need to get back to doing on a regular basis. After Monsters University I was convinced would wouldn't see another sequel for at least 5-8 years, given how many were coming out at the same time, but here we are and in just 4 years time Nemo will return.

As I said though, if it's Staton that came up with the idea then I won't hold it against Pixar. Don't get me wrong I'm a big Pixar fan, but that's why I'm a bit concerned by this news, although I'm sure it'll be great.
