I'm uber Jealous of this collection..

Anyone have pictures of the inside of Totoro & Fireflies combo pack that they can share? Still wondering how they look like.
Hahaha, I posted it a few pages back.

P.S - Great news Peter! How's that for good luck.

Haha. Well... still some more pics wouldn't hurt, would it?

By the way, I am actually surprised by this box. I thought I'd be way ugly, but in real life it's actually not that bad. I kinda like it.

Pardon the crappy out of focus iPhone shots by the way. There's also a booklet included, but nothing really new (at least for me). Will give the discs a spin later this evening and tell you what I think (very curious to see how the remastering of Hotaru no Haka turned out)

Does it have a magnet?

What is the other stuff behind the digipack in the first photo?

Nice my friend!! Congratulations!!

Now we all know how it looks that box from the inside....although, I'm glad I didn't order that version... I like the simple and regular ones.

Thanks very much for posting those pics!

I still feel a little torn over whether I should have ordered the individual releases instead of the set, but I'm happy with my decision seeing those pics. Can't wait until mine arrives.

Lovely! A shame that it doesn't house 2 individual digipaks though.

Yes, it has.

And behind the digipack is a program booklet magazine kinda thing on Totoro and Hotaru. The usual stuff. Actually, I think I already had this laying around somewhere (have all the program booklets from when the films were released)

Thanks.

Ah well, I prefer the regular releases as well, but for me it's getting it all. Gotta have it all complete.

@Kajino, Thanks for the pictures! Now the mystery of how it look is solved...

I understand why both films are together. But at the same time I find it odd. Ones very sad, ones very happy? Ying & Yang I guess?

Well, that's debatable if you believe the Totoro/Death god rumours

Question

@ the ones who have their copy of Fireflies: It can be confirmed that the Japanese audio track is the only one available?

Yes. Just gave the disc a spin. Japanese is the only audio track. PQ is stunning by the way.

Lovely Fireflies pack shots from the usual:

Beautiful screenshots included.

This is my favourite colour/silhouette from all the releases so far.

I'm on the other fence, for me the silhouette of Setsuko is abit generic.

I would have loved to see both Seita and her..

OR

But speaking of favourite though, I really love the silhouette cover and color of From Up on Poppy Hill..

I am still hoping for Only Yesterday and Kiki's Delivery Service for the next blu rays..

My ideal silhouette for Only Yesterday are the Safflower(s), keeping my fingers crossed.

Would one of you kind individuals who owns the Japanese editions be willing to scan full-size copies of the covers/spines using a scanner? Or point me towards full scans?

I'm planning on making/printing custom covers (with some modification) based on the Japanese Blu-ray cover-art designs. I own a mix-match of the US/UK releases.... this would be a huge help.

The main thing is I need large images so that I can fit the dimensions needed for Criterion Blu-ray-sized case printing (which is 3240 x 1894).
