Ok, I thought December 31st was an odd date anyway. If you going to release to biggest film of all time and the most anticipated 3D movie you release it just before Christmas. I think the initial sales numbers would be much higher.

They deliberately gave Panasonic an official deal for exclusive use of the movie till 3D took off into the mass market. They now think they're at a point where 3D has taken off enough and they can smash records on home theatre and get into the news again.

I have the Chinese Iron Pack. I will simply dump the DVD and replace it with the 3D Blu-ray. I don't want foreign text on the front of my Steels.
