I will only buy this Day 1 if an Exclusive Version includes a Bonus Disc or some Exclusive On-Disc Content, but I loved this movie so I will buy it soon after release,I just have so many things coming out this year I have to cut costs,so I'm gonna wait to buy it used at my local FYE,because they always get several copies of new releases traded in shortly after, and they have Used Sales a majority of the time.

I'm hoping for a Feature Length Making of Doc,a commentary with Webb,Garfield,& Stone included,Deleted Scenes that must exist do to scenes from promotional material being absent as well as stills of scenes not found in the movie, and maybe an updated Comic Book Documentary on Spidey, since several of the ones included on the Raimi Trilogy are not as good as others(X-Men,Fantastic Four,Iron Man) out there.

And as far as Emma Stone
[Show spoiler],she is one of my favorite "crushes",I think 1 reason could be that she is closer in age to some of the people who usually talk about her,and I am 1 of those. My favorites are Emma Watson,Kristen Stewart(not a good actress, but to me she is attractive, and I connect to some of her interviews),Jennifer Lawrence, and Miss Stone. There are plenty of others I consider "Hot" but I like the ones closer to my age range, and who have been in movies that I like/love(and Kristen Stewart, but I did like Bella and the Huntsman,er,Snow White and the Huntsman)

Agreed. And LIGHT YEARS better than any of that Tobey McGuire crapola. I couldn't stand any of those other films. There are extras in this version that have more charisma than Tobey could ever hope to have.

Was really surprised at how much I enjoyed this. I took my dad and he had absolutely no interest. He came out saying that George Lucas needs to hire these SFX people because it looked great.

Can't wait to pick this up.

He works for movie stop. It's in their system for that date. Every other date he has posted has become official so I would count on this one as well.

Day 1 purchase no matter what the release date is. I liked this one as much of not a bit more than the first Sam Raimi Spider Man plus I am a fan of Emma Stone so it was nice to have her in this movie. I hope the Target exclusive is a good one if it is I will probably double dip like I am going to do with the Avengers.

It makes me sad I'll probably never see Elijah Wood as Spiderman. Elijah in the Raimi trilogy would have been sweet.

And basically my wish list for the BD. (I repeat, wish-list)
-The finale in 1.78:1 aspect ratio like the IMAX version.
-Theatrical trailers (in 2D and 3D.)
-2nd disc with bonus features.
-In-depth making-of documentary.
-A lot of additional featurettes.
-Sort of Maximum-Movie-Mode like WB does with their films.

Basically those are the main features i would want on the BD.
has Sony ever done a bluray with this kind of feature?? WB's MMM discs are quite frankly amazing, right up there with Pixar's ones.

From your icon, i take it you were probably just thinking of the Batman and Joker during the movie.

Well, I didn't much care for this and thought it was mediocre at best. Seemed like a rush job (at least they got some talented people involved), and in the end wasn't worth the effort of rebooting. I expected to have fun at a spider-man movie and what I got was Denis Leary unexpectedly stealing the show, 2 hours of Gwen and Peter giving each other googly eyes, and utimately a film that didn't feel like a comic book movie but rather trying hard to be something it's not. If I had to choose between this or what Spiderman 4 could have been, I'd go for Spidey 4.

Having said that, I will still buy this. I can't not own a Spiderman movie on blu ray. There were still elements I liked and hopefully it grows on me and I see what the praise is all about. I really want to like this, but just not feeling it right now.
