Do we have proof of this? I know for a fact that the SKU's for these, just like any other release, go to an OOP status once the studio discontinues the release. I suspect these are treated as any other release and are printed as needed and/or demand is present.

I surely don't have any proof of it. What you say seems to be truth. Why not just print more if the supply deems it?
