It finally arrived today. Incredibly beautiful!!! It was so worth the money. Needless to say that I LOVE this movie

I only have this edition,the english soundtrack on it was a big disappointment though....Has anyone compared it to the american release yet?
(It lacked bass and no surround feeling came up)

I watched it in english today. The sound was okay. The movie is 10 years old and it's low budget. Besides there is always loud music over the action scenes/shootouts. You aren't supposed to hear any loud gunshots etc. Overall, I was very pleased with this release. Video and sound quality was good imo, considering all the difficult circumstances that occured during the making of this film.

I'm in the US so I would have to find someplace that ships to the US. I already own the US edition of this movie. 29,99 EUR is a lot in USD. That would be the most I have ever spent on a movie. Tough call. I'm surprised Amazon.de doesn't have this available.

Just read the Boondock Saints review and it did get a 4/5 for the audio quality.
It gotta be better than the german blu ray then,because the german release is far away from a 4/5...Unfortunately the american release is coded region A,which makes it impossible for me to watch it on my SONY BDP-5000ES
It's also a BD50 and the german disc is a BD25 with 2 DTS HD tracks on it...

Still it is a fine collectible,but i'd rather have the american release!
(i never watch movies in german...)
