As much as it bothers me too they have to remain that way, as I like my collection to look uniform and since arrietty and ponyo have special covers and the others have slips (other than Nausica) they must remain divided. Steels with steels, slips with slips, amrays with amrays look more uniform and tidy than lumping them together in numerical order but with vary degrees of width and height. Crazy I know but its the OCD in me.

I finally got a chance to fully re-organise the blu-rays. Its now;
A-Z, TV sets, Zombies/Romero, Director boxsets, documentary films/series, musicals, animation, miscellaneous film boxsets, digibooks & bulky collectors sets (brought Family Guy sets and I Am Legend gift-set over while taking the pics).

I tried my best to make all the spines readable, but if you find one that isnt clear I'll identify it

Each to his own though

That would be me. I don't usually bother collecting imported titles at all, I'm more of a UK collector, you see a lot of people on here importing steels and slips from foreign countires and what not, but thats just not my bag, the only reason I imported year one, under the red hood and batman beyond year of the joker was because we still cannot get them here at all which is just plain silly.

What do you mean?

I don't collect slipcovers really, if they come with them then fair one, if they don't it doesn't make any difference for me, its only a bit of card!

Just my opinion of course, I know a fair few people on here won't buy a blu if it doesn't have one, if you ask me thats stupid but once again thats my opinion.
I buy blu rays to enjoy the films, if they have a slip cover or a steelbook isn't really all that important to me.
I only every buy steelbooks if they are the same price or less than a normal edition or if I actually prefer the artwork (thats the graphic designer in me)

I had them all mixed in together...until last week. My slight OCD got the better of me and I had to divide them up into amarays/digibooks/steels/boxes

Agreed, definitely not the be all and end all. Getting it with the slipcover is just a nice bonus. I'm waiting on Return of the Joker, ordered from a third party on Amazon, been over a month Have a friend sending me the Red Hood blu-ray though so that's good.

How much did you pay? I got mine new and sealed of Ebay and it was fairly cheap. Its good and looks great in HD only problem is it has the ratio bars down the left and right of the screen

You're braver than me mate. I broke out in a cold sweat last night trying to look for something to watch from the chaos.

Just an FYI, I prefer Blu's to be in studio order, TV, Steelbook's™ and slips separate. But I'm easy....

Nearly the same as me.

Steelbooks are not part of the collection towers, they are separate, housed in velvet looking mini towers in the front room, and some more expensive ones in one of the bedrooms sitting on top of the bigger shelving units.

In the shelving units ordered as follows.

Studio order.
Then it's us slips first.
Then it's us slipless next.
Then it's foreign slips.
Foreign slipless
UK slips
UK slipless.

If I have a slip and have a steelbook, the slip is relegated to another tower just for those slips.
If I have a slipless version and a steelbook, the disc if good is placed inside the steelbook and the box is boxed up and put in attic.

Finally due to space, if I judge a movie not worthy, it is removed from its plastic case and placed in a cd storage case, you know holds four on front, four on back, per page.

Simply really.
