I've got it on order with my local jb. Just about every jb store has their stock except for the store I've got it preordered with

. I was tempted to just pick it up at a different store today and cancel my preorder. Hopefully it comes in tomorrow. If someone hasn't posted up any info about it by the time I get my copy, then I will post up any details you want to know.

Watched this last night.
It looked marginally better than what I remember the DVD transfer being like.
To be fair though, it was shot on Super 16 and was never going to be incredible.
There's definitely some added depth and it looks quite good during some interior scenes where the lighting was better.
I don't have a great speaker set-up but audio-wise it sounded great
Some new extras would have gone down a treat, but oh well

Worth it for $15.98 from JB. I'd question spending much more on it.

I had only ever seen the film once before watching the blu-ray, a long time ago, and to be honest can't even remember the scene. If it's also not in the upcoming German release, then there's not much you can do besides wait for if and when another version is released somewhere else, which maybe be a long wait or might not even happen at all. Sure, it's a shame that they removed the scene, I can't say that I'm happy about it, however if you like and want the film on blu, and both the Australian and German versions turn out to be missing it, then waiting for another release else where, especially for the sake of a measly $12-$15 Australian dollars, is a bit extreme just for one small scene if you ask me. An example, just look at the amount of members who bought the orginial Casino Royale release which was cut in the U.S and UK, many are aware of it but despite that bought it anyway, however the difference between this and that, is that currently (provided that the German release is the same) there is no other version available which is uncut and includes the missing scene.
