Think it's just a mistake, it has "4-Disc Set" on the spine;
[Show spoiler]

EDIT: They also have it marked as "Run Time: 284 minutes", but the total time of the 4 films is 382mins

It's was marked as 382 mins on amazon earlier but now it's changed! Should be 386 mins though so something has been cut 4 mins. Possibly some cuts across all four movies! The 284 mins has to be a typo, surely, as that wouldn't cover all four movies?

Where are you getting 386min from? I added it to the listing as 382mins, took the run times from the back of my individual releases (97, 94, 94 & 97).

EDIT: Just popped in the RE1 disc, runtime is 1:40:30. They printed the PAL runtime on the box

.

Great price! But no 3D version of Afterlife and I doubt there's gonna be a box set containing it so I'm keeping my trilogy and separate 3D release.

I am officially BROKE... Earlier this year I gave up hope on getting any good boxsets. Then suddendly from March Onwards all those boxset announcements came out of nowhere and I pre-ordered every single one of them... James Bond, Hitchcock, Indiana Jones, Titanic 3D, Avengers 6 pack....etc.

Looks like another copy of Resident Evil I will need to get. I might wait and see what it looks like first.

I'm referring to other boxsets from other countires stating that the release is 386 mins. This release had 382 mins yesterday & now 385 mins! So which is it????

The US set comprises of four films which have running times of 100, 94, 94, and 97 minutes. That comes to 385, the 384.88 is correct, as times are rounding up or down to the nearest minute.

I don't think there have been any cuts with the films in the UK apart from Apocalypse having an extended edition which is about 230 seconds longer than the theatrical cut. I'm not sure if the extended cut has been released on Blu-ray or not.

Thanks for clearing that up!

I expect it to be a bare bones release but thought that there may be cuts, due to the running time changing frequently within various sites. Glad to see nothing will be cut & it's a great price for this set.
