I'm tempted to get the Steelbook. Not so eager on the the edition with the flying car.
It does look nice but with it being the final cut it will probably be the 2 disc version which I sold last week! I would prefer a complete package, as I missed out on the US 5 disc. I had a chance to purchase it at £20 but stupidly forgot

Most of the Steelbook's have been single discs from Play.com (Saving Private Ryan was), so there's a chance it won't be the double disc set.

I'd rather the nice Digibook with the horse (unicorn?) on it from USA.

I'll have to get this at a later time for financial reasons. Also, could a mod correct the release date in the title? I misread HMV's date

Hahaha. Unicorns, what will they think of next.

I actually don't remember, was there one in the film?

Yes

I take it youre not a big fan then?!

Directors Cut and Final Cut have a unicorn sequence which is rather important if you take Ridley's view on Deckard...

Ah I see. Ive been a fan for over 20 years haha! Final Cut is the best one though and every BR fan Ive read comments on agree on that. Only real fans need to bother with the full thing in my opinion. However, the 2-disc one might make you into a fan and then you will need the whole set anyway. Extras are fantastic - if youre a fan!

Final Cut also looks stunning in blu ray. One of the best looking 'old' films along with alien, IMO they both look incredible considering when they were made.

It's a bloody great film and really interesting. I've never heard such incredible audio in my life (with headphones on). You are making me want to watch it again. ;D

My favourite film and surprise surprise...my favourite film soundtrack ever too. I dont even want to think how many times Ive listened to that soundtrack...does it ever get boring? Of course not. Theres lots of versions of the soundtrack around by the way. I dont need to spell out how to get them (the only way to get them in fact) of course . Ive bought the original soundtrack CD a couple of times.

I thought the unicorn on the cover of the Digibook was more elaborate than the one in the film but I must have been thinking of the little matchstick-man Gaff made.

I got the original tin dvd edition but back then I did not have a HD TV so missed the blu. I want the steely but will leave it as its only 1 cut.

Pre-orderd the US digibook from Amazon US. Hopefully it comes through undamaged!
Its £18 so much cheaper then UK set and dont need DVD/UV copy.
Before shipping it works out just under £15 so should not get customs fee.
