City of Angels is in 5.1! I picked this up in Walmart and can confirm both movies in 5.1 HD audio.

It figures that a studio would package the worst entries in the series together, just to make a quick buck. "Salvation" tried hard to be a good story, but so much of the content ruined it. The first is a classic.

Seems that they re-purposed the transfer that we got in the UK, in the pack with Salvation. Congrats, guys.

Yes sir. The combo pack has City of Angels in 1080P, 5.1 HD audio and it's the director's cut. It's basically what the first release should have been. Plus you get the terrible 4th Crow movie as what I will call a very "special" feature

It should run around 91 mins.

It runs for 90:44 to be exact. The PQ is OK at best. It's got some signs of softness and some digital tinkering, but it's not a total DNR fest either. It's a tick better than the old release IMO. It's also framed in 1.85:1 now.

Edit: My mistake the original release was also 1.85:1....just labeled incorrectly on the artwork.

crap, my brain registered wicked prayer as the one with Kirsten dunst, not the aweful aweful 4th one with Edward Furlong. ah well, at least Crow City of Angels is good

seriously...this is the same one that's on the directors cut dvd from miramax?
