I'm certainly in the market for one of these if it does indeed turn out to be a steelbook, and have The Avengers on the spine rather than the little pictures.

Hopefully it'll be like Ghost Rider: SoV and have 3 spaces inside (or beter still, 3 discs filling them) so that I can decide what to put in it.

Will there be an option of just getting the case? A member got me the SoV case which was ideal.

This is great news. I hope to be there when the store opens then to get one. So, I'll be able to get this....the actual movie (3D version) free from MovieStop and plus the Briefcase and I'll be set!

Like a few said, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a VIVA metal case since it's Disney, but it'll be a surprise.

Ditto, most stores won't know what your talking about unless you provide them with a sku. Thats how it was with Ghost Rider for me.

I certainly hope your info is correct, but, like the JAWS Digibook showed us (with many/all stores Selling Out Day One), I could (theoretically) see people camping out so they don't get Left Out for THIS Steelbook release.

Not that "I" would ever do that, mind you...

It wont' be a Steelbook.... It'll be the same Viva MetalPack (Metal Box, Metal Case, whatever you want to call it) like all Disney titles now are, and there is a 95+% chance it'll be the same that FS is getting.

Lol - Yea, I forgot it'd be the EMPTY Steelbook (or VIVA Metal-Pack, per above), but you KNOW people would be freakin' out to get a U.S. Release of a Major Action flick like this in SB/Metal-Pack form, instead of having to order overseas.

Do we know how this is going to work? Do we just order the case by itself or is this a similar situation as Ghost Rider where you preorder the 3D bluray and get the steelbook case with it for no extra cost? I hate the idea of shelling out money for the bluray and having to fork out extra cash for an empty case.

5 dollars down gets you the case, then when the movie comes in bring your receipt and the 5 dollars goes toward the price of the movie
