Your right it doesn't contain the extended cut. I have the grenade collection and it only contains the theatrical one.

At least the US extended cut is region free.

Just dropped to £34.99 on Amazon. Going to take the plunge, don't have any of them on Blu-Ray.

Even though I've heard nothing but bad reviews regarding the packaging, I'm still going to pick this up, as I do not own any of the Rambo films (even though I'm a huge fan). But that price drop is still not enough for me to warrant a purchase, I'm sure this hasn't sold well at all since release, especially at the expensive price tag it was when it first came out. I'm going to wait for a drastic price drop before picking this up.

Same here, i'll bin my US version when they release First Blood to buy on it's own.

Assuming it's a worth-while upgrade that is.

I returned my copy to Amazon today. A total waste of money, and a reminder on why I never pick up fancy Collector's Edition boxes. The granade is total tat and even though the PQ is fantastic, I still think to spend £34,99 is a tad excessive on cheap plastic tat.

I was tempted by this set but after reading your thoughts I think i'll give it a miss. I've read far too many negative things and not enough positives. Looks like i'll be picking up the regular boxset.

I don't think many people picked this up, was expensive since release and has hardly dropped down in price, remaining around the £50-60 mark. However, I'm sure that £28 is the lowest it has been, I still want to pick this up, even though all the reviews and unboxing vids show what a terrible package it is!

So you have it then, is it a piece of shit because that price is quite tempting?

If it won't brake very easy it might be a okay gift for a child..Then again even for that bargain price you may find something more clever..

I skipped that and bought the individual German re-release of First Blood to go with the old bd releases of Rambo 2 and 3. They have the best transfers and are cheaper than the new boxset which also has the 2 poorer transfers and crap packaging.

So the remastered version of First Blood from this grenade set has been released on it's own in Australia ?

It's that's the case then I'll have to import it.

They were released individually here late last year, about 3 months after the trilogy set was released.

Just disregard the running times that JB have listed because they are incorrect.

Sweet, thanks.

What are JB like to order from ? It's coming up as $8.24 to ship to the UK which seems reasonable. Works out cheaper to buy from JB than if I buy from someone direct in Australia on eBay anyway.
