I guess you replied to my Black Book enquiry. If so, do you happen to know whether the UK and US editions have the same transfer and aspect ratio?

US - AVC 25310 kbps, DTS-HD MA 5.1 2889 kbps 24-bit, BD25, worse transfer (Region A)
FR - AVC 19210 kbps, DTS-HD HR 5.1 2046 kbps 16-bit, french cut, no eng subs, BD25 (Region B)
TH - AVC, DTS-HD MA 5.1
Is there a Thai version of the first Ong Bak? Does it have English subs? Where can you buy it?
I've been thinking of getting the HK version because it's better then the US version and the HK version has subtitles compared to the French version that has only a English dub. But because the HK release is little expensive I'd easily go for the Thai version, if it has English and is actually released since I've searched for it and couldn't find any info of it?
Edit: Found it: http://www.asianblurayguide.com/deta...land_thailand/ but it does not have any English according the specs.

Well, as you might see there the movie file of the Finnish BD is a lot larger and it has most shadow detail. But the differences are very small in PQ although the bigger filesize.

Yes add Strange Days specifications so it can be added. Thinking of buying it now when the price have dropped
How about the UK Theatrical Cut? Same as the Director's Cut?

Terminator 2: Judgment Day
US - Moderate DNR, Extended, Director's, and Theatrical Cuts (Skynet Edition)
JP - No DNR, Extended, Director's and Theatrical Cuts (Premium Edition) (Region free)
UK - UK - No DNR, Special Edition only (Director's Cut) (Region A/B locked)
FR - (Studio Canal) Disc 1: No DNR, Theatrical Cut, Forced French subtitles on English Audio, Region B locked. Disc 2: Special Edition, same as UK (Optimum release)

LINK (Specs are being updated).
Could you also specify that the UK release on line 3 is the Optimum release, to avoid all this Skynet/Optimum confusion?
Thanks

Does anyone own the French edition of "True Romance"? I see it's listed as the superior version, anyone know how much of an improvement it is over the US? I love that movie and would really like to own the best version. I just wanted to know how much better the FR edition was.

I love the french disc. Sure some scenes might be a little boosted but nothing annoying. Looks much better over US/UK in my eyes. Hate the murky green filter in the UK caps.

Looks great to me http://www.caps-a-holic.com/hd_vergl...ss=1#vergleich

No boosting just better colors and details http://www.caps-a-holic.com/hd_vergl...ss=1#vergleich

The UK disc seems to have some compression issues. Look at the sky in the last pic you posted. The FR has grain. Without knowing what the film really looks like, I think the FR is a tad too pinkish, but overall a better choice than the UK.

The FR looks wayyyy to bright to me, not to mention zoomed. More home video looking than theatrical.
