So... the steelbook import... is it actually a steelbook or is it the Viva Metal Case? Are some of them actual steelbooks and the others VMC? I didn't think Disney used the actual steelbooks but amazon.de has theirs listed as one. There are way too many import versions of this thing. It's getting confusing as to which one is which. Lol

I'm hoping the BB rumor is true for their metal case. And then I'll just keep my amazon order for Avengers 3D and get the case from BB. Hoping we find something out regarding that today when the ad shows up! *crosses fingers*

The seller is charging $30.00 and claims the preorder will be available on 8/28!!!

It's pretty much been confirmed that BB is getting an Avengers pre-order Metal pak. The seller is just using fancy wording to drive up the price.

Cinderella is real as well. Order here

Well then, answer me this: Why Is there no listing on http://www.BestBuy.com for the avengers Collectible Case?

Picked up the Avengers on Blu-ray as a Steelbook. I returned the first one as the spine was cracked. The second one was dented. The third one the spine fell apart. The store clerk at JB-Hi-Fi had to open 4 of them before she found one that wasn't either cracked of dented. I apologised for being *that guy*, but she said it wasn't my fault, as their shipping dept throws the boxes around.
Just letting anyone else who picked one up to check theirs.

I've got a question, does the Aussie version come with the commentary? That's the only thing I'm still waiting to hear about because if it doesn't I'll have to get it in from the US (I'm not buying more than one copy of a movie) and unfortunately wait an extra month.

Just checked my copy. It doesn't seem to contain any commentary. Unusual as Disney discs are usually identical across regions.

No they are not. There are a lot of discs which are different

Thanks for that, looks like I can kiss having the blu-ray in two days goodbye. I figured we wouldn't get it though since it hasn't been on any of the other Region B releases. Now I just have to hope the US one isn't locked to Region A.

Yup. The briefcase company is probably being unreasonably greedy in their demands for compensation. So, that will leave Disney with no other recourse than to ditch the product altogether.

Not that I care personally as I wasn't buying the set (I prefer my steelbook collection), but it does make me feel

for those who were excited for it.
