I intend to support Scream Factory with all of their upcoming releases because we need them now more than ever, with classic Anchor Bay long dead and Synapse, Code Red, Blue Underground, Image, etc, all slowing down significantly as of late.

Cliff, as long as you continue to bring us quality and a loving respect for the titles you release, I'll be there to support the brand in every way I can. I'm quite sure I'm not alone in that sentiment.

I've never owned any of the titles they are releasing on any format but I intend to buy most of them. They're so lovingly put together for collectors that I can't resist them. Same thing happened with the Corman Classics -- I had never seen ANY of the movies before but I blind bought Rock n Roll High School, Piranha, Death Race 2000 and Forbidden World and they are now all some of my favorite BDs in my collection. Humanoids from the Deep is the next one I plan to get.

For this series, I have seen Halloween II and III but it's been a loooong time...like the 80s. I remember we were little kids and my cousin was upset that Michael Myers wasn't in part III. We couldn't wrap our heads around that one. I have also seen and love They Live. But all the others will be blind buys.

I wasn't planning on picking up Scream's Terror Train release, but after getting my copies of Halloween II and III early, and being VERY impressed, I'll be picking up every single one of their efforts on blu-ray. Scream Factory's releases are the real deal guys.

@Blu-Dre

I couldn't agree with you more. All the companies started to slow down (kinda unexpected with Blue Underground) and don't license new stuff. So Scream Factory is the only 'hope' on the horizon for horror fans now.

Oh man, Humanoids From the Deep is an absolute blast. The Women in Cages set is pretty great too.

I'm excited to pick these up once they go sub $15. My order of want: 1. Halloween 3; 2. They live; 3. Funhouse; 4. Terror train. (won't be picking up Halloween 2 because Im sticking with the previous release)

Looking forward to an announcement for a second wave, but it's hard to imagine it'll meet the expectations set by this run

I can't wait to own "Halloween 2" and "3" especially after all this positive feedback. Cliff, you really seem to have done a hell of a job on these releases and I hope to see the Scream Factory line continue far past this first wave of titles.

I do not wish to derail this thread, as Cliff is a personal friend of mine, but I don't think I have slowed down at all. I having problems catching up with all the stuff I am scheduling, especially with an average of two to three titles being released a month, plus the fact I am trying my hands at releasing BluRay discs, with my first BluRay title DEATHSHIP coming out in November, to be followed by GRIZZLY probably in Feb, I don't think I have slowed down at all. And I am still licensing new titles, some with intention of releasing both SD and BD so I am still licensing stuff, so should have some new BluRay news in a month or so.

Exactly why I pre-ordered all of them.

@Scorpion

Sorry about my words, because somehow I missed that the person I quoted mentioned Scorpion too and I didn't intended to offend anyone with my 'all companies' statement. I'm sorry if you felt offended.
I can't wait for your Blu-ray releases, especially Grizzly will be a day 1

I showed my support by Pre-ordering They Live, Terror Train, and Fun House on their site. But I saved $20 and Pre-ordered H2 & 3 on Amazon. I didn't need the poster or nurse hat thingy. I was just more concerned with getting in early for a slipcover on both of them, and Cmac assured us the pre-orders on Amazon also get the slips, so I'm good with that.
I'm really looking forward to these.
I very rarely pre-order, but all of these appear to be well worth it and Shout/Scream Factory is really making a great impression so far

Thanks for your interest in GRIZZLY and not to worry, no offence taken. Scream Factory is a exciting concept and I am hoping tons of success for CMac!

Well, I look forward to what you have coming soon, and I will continue to support Scorpion as well (I own or have owned many of the Katarina Nightmare Theater line, and you have my eternal gratitude for the uncut Humongous DVD.) No disrespect was intended to you or any of the companies I listed (All of which I am a fan and supportive of), I just meant that there are too few horror/cult classics specialty labels around and some of the ones that remain aren't as proactive as they once were, which is understandable in this economy, but sad nevertheless.

I, and many others, are very grateful for what you and Cliff are doing for the home video horror market in a time when theatrical horror has (arguably) gone to found footage hell. My apologies for any offense. But hey, while you're here Scorp (And hope you stick around like Cmac), any chance of some of the Katarina titles or other Scorpion titles making it to Blu Ray? I'd love to have House on Sorority Row, The Silent Scream and many others on the format.

Hi,

well again, I do not wish to derail this thread, I think there is a thread for my label somewhere on this forum, so you can ask all future questions there, but to answer your questions, yes, on ones that have the two key criteria, how well they sold, and if the elements are good enough to do HD masters on, if an HD master has not already been created. The two you mentioned are very possibilities. Maybe even GIRLY. Thanks for your interest.
