Amazon has the standard season two set at $29.99 now.

They have 0 reason to re-release it because it already has a "limited" edition. You either buy the head and get the digipak or don't but they aren't re-releasing it in digipak. The ONLY reason Season 1 got one is because they did a limited edition (and best buy's LE got that shitty mask and trading card) and they wanted to do the pilot in B&W. The ONLY way they would even consider doing a 2nd LE on Season 2 is if they have the full unaired season 2 premiere and want to slap it on the disc. You know the premiere frank wanted to do that took place immediately after S1 but then they fired him.

Anyways it won't happen, they have 0 need to do it and people like you that just want the digipak are in the minority. People who care enough about it will just spend the extra $20 on the zombie head edition.

Also just to confirm the UK release is the exact same as the 2 disc AUS release. The episodes are squashed on to 2 BDs and the 3rd disc has the extras (which AUS didnt get). So glad I decided to import. Plus we lost webisodes and commentaries and we get a 5.1 track instead of a 7.1 track.

Best Buy is going to get my money this time around. A set like this, I'd rather have the convenience of picking up in store and returning there if need be. If I HAVE to I'll order from Amazon, but I really don't want to have to return it to Amazon. It's kind of big and a pain in the neck to do that. $59 vs the $64.99... yep. And I'm not sure if Amazon will match that price considering it's only on BB's website and actually reflects 69.99 in the ad. Besides, I have to go down that way regardless to take advantage of Barnes & Noble's 40% off sale, too.

Agreed. $59.99 is a great price and I have a Best Buy around the corner from me, so I just ordered online for in store pick up. So Best is $59.99 + tax and getting it on release day and Amazon is $64.99 + shipping and not getting it till two days after release. Yeah, Best Buy wins.

Ah you guys got me thinking so much about the Best Buy deal I cancelled the Amazon order and Pre-ordered with BB w/ In-store pickup....it all works out I gotta pickup Boardwalk Empire and Sons of Anarchy anyway

Went ahead and preordered the head from BB for in-store pickup on Tuesday. If Season 3 doesn't have an option for matching S1 & S2 cases, I'm gonna go crazy.

If the item is already in stock, then it shouldn't take longer than a few business hours. If it's preorder, then you know the answer to that one.

Well, of course it is a pre-order. This isn't out yet lol. So I don't really know what the deal is... if I ordered this morning and they had enough in stock, should I have received a ready for pick up on Tuesday email or something? Or will that come the day before? Just wondering if I should wait or cancel and try a different BB.
