At the same time, if you're willing to sell a Steelbook for £40 (I'm not saying you are, just using this as an example), then honestly, you should at least cover the postage.

think people care about maintaining lucrative profit margins in those cases lol. Let's not go down that route though, it's caused enough issues already

Very true. It seems I'm not likely to change the world on this...

Face value £10.99,about $17 and thank's again for your posts.
I have decided to go with the recorded/signed for option,I will ask the buyer to agree with this or be responsible for the package.
If he doesn't want this then I will leave it,problem solved I believe.

Yeah, that should do it. I find it's usually £11 to the US and Canada with tracked and insured. Also, make sure your calculating the paypal fees properly and are prepared to wait up to 21 days for the money to be relesed to you, unless of course they pay via the gift method. I'm doing group buys etc so i ask for paypal gift in advance of the release by 7-10 days in order for it to be transferred into the account for the time of dispatch. Shows up in your account immediately, but 2-5 days to transfer into the account and then they dispatch 3-5 days before release.

Not if your doing it via 'purchase for goods' or invoice based. Group buys on here are told by mods they're fine to ask for paypal gift payments instead. In that case, the buyer can pay the fees on their end

I didn't find better thread to post this, so here goes:

Can anyone help me with Play.com return address? I went through the return process and got the return authorisation, but the return address was missing for some odd reason. There is a line "use the address below", but no address is visible...

true but the sender can show, via third party site,(usps) That the item was mailed and accepted by USPS. Once it leaves USA you are SOL

if they use paypal, buyer can agree to whatever but if a claim arises and you cant prove delivery, you lose out. Thats why I dont ship abroad, I know damn well this stuff arrives and they just want a free rid. Sucks for the honest buyer out there, but theres always a seller who will ship without tracking, I am not that one.
