Default Can't watch Hunger Games until next firmware release
This Samsung Bluray is simply the worst!
I have been trying to watch the newly released Hunger Games on
a Samsung BD-P1590.
It wouldn't play.
I downloaded and installed the latest (July 5) firmware from Samsung's website; both the Flash Drive and the CD versions.
Both installs were successful but neither allowed the Bluray DVD to play.
I called Samsung support and was told that the firmware upgrade was written before Hunger Games was released and the DVD will not play on my Bluray until the next firmware upgrade is released.
And when can I expect the next firmware release???
I was told that the next revision should be released sometime within the next 12 to 14 months.
I'm considering recording a youtube video of me shooting this worthless Bluray player full of holes.
