I can't believe a thread was created for a Security Tag label.

I can believe it. People like to complain about the most ridiculous things. I noticed that happening a lot on this forum lately.

If we all thought, exactly, alike the world would be a boring place.

You're not complaining about the complaining, are you?

I just used a hair dryer and got both sides nice and hot. Like really hot. Then I slowly pulled the tag off while aiming the hot air from the hair dryer in under the tag. Took a couple of minutes and there is no damage or residue left.

Of course, you forgot to mention the second degree burns you sustained on your fingers!

There's no inflection in that so I can't tell if you're joking or not. You are joking, right?

I don't see how complaining about this is so ridiculous. This artwork was carefully designed to look cool and showcase the film. The packaging was designed to look cool, and then someone chose to just stick a black rectangle right in the middle of a piece of art, which in many cases, couldn't be removed. It's like sticking a black rectangle in the middle of a painting because you don't want it stolen, when it easily could have been stuck on the frame. It's careless thinking by the manufacturer to place it in the middle of the artwork, and when you buy a movie with such cool packaging, it's completely justified to be upset over part of it being intentionally damaged.

With that said, at least people (including myself) have been able to successfully remove this stupid thing. The worst was back when studios used to stick one of these black rectangles ON the artwork, but UNDERNEATH the digipak tray, completely inaccessible, so there was no chance of removing it at all. I think I own at least one or two seasons of The Simpsons where this happened, and I know it's not the only show with this issue. Very annoying.

I also bought the DVD version of the Target Exclusive, and it did not have a security tag at all. Weird.

Well, DVDs still outsell Blu-rays, so they might care at least a little.

Anyone else annoyed by the size of the digibook? Why did they make it so tall?
