Got an email from amazon, they refunded the $5 without me having to call...what a relief. Mine should be arriving today considering it's in my state and left the fedex warehouse at 3am. Can't wait!

Just ran out to greet the mail truck and was glad to see a big box containing the Walking Dead limited edition. As soon as I opened it, I was incredibly pleased to (as usual) realize that all of the people complaining about minor details are really just looking to complain. Does it look exactly like the press shots? Of course not, but that is a given for nearly any product. The bottom line is that, for $60, this thing is absolutely incredible and very unique. Plus, it fits perfectly in the horror aesthetic of my home (I have it right next to my Michael Myers mask near my tv).

Bottom line, If you are interested in this, are a horror collector, and/or are just a huge fan of the show, you NEED this.

Even the naysayers will have to admit the design is pretty close...

I received the standard edition of season 2 in the mail today from amazon. After double dipping on the 1st season Walking Dead BDs, I'd really like the special edition digipack for season 2 as well. (have no where to put the cool zombie head though)

In all honesty, I still have never opened the SE 1st season 3 disc set. (When I watch the 1st season I use the standard edition BD set) Hopefully the season 2 special edition will be sold separately at some point so that I can have a complete set. (unopened as collectors items)

Can you tell I'm a huge fan of the show?

If anyone was wondering the season 1 blu set that came with the Nicotero mask, and the season 2 set from the zombie skull both fit perfectly snug in the DON'T OPEN DEAD INSIDE box.

I started off The Walking Dead by playing Telltale's video game version, and if you have played it, the character development and the tension between the group is just what I loved. You had to make some hard decisions in that game its just incredible what Telltale has done.
I just finished episode 6 and it still bothers me that the setting has not changed at all!! I mean the first season was spanned out with six episodes and it was like a thrill ride from the start to the end. The tension between the group existed, they knew they had to refuge to a different location, and some characters were killed.
I just finished episode 6 season 2 and what has changed from the end of episode 1 in terms of their main objective? Find Sophia. And by the end of episode 6 it still hasn't concluded. The series hasn't focused on her at all from the first season that I barely cared for the character in the first place. The group no longer feels threatened after finding Hershel's farm, therefore the tension is almost nonexistant, they have no motivation to move on so for 6 episodes, we're seeing the exact same place.
For Season 2 so far, it feels like I'm watching Lost Season 1, which is a great season but The Walking Dead should not turtle over 6 episodes in one spot.
Then you might as well stop watching because next season is probably going to be entirely in one setting as well.

Its called character development and there is A LOT of it in the first half of season 2. Them being in one location isnt and shouldnt be that big of a deal. There are a lot of intricacies being played out in the first half of the season, and a lot of that comes to a head in the second half of the season.

There is plenty of tension throughout the group, unless of course you are only focusing on tension based on the walkers.

Yeah I would give up on the show, and stick to video games.

Just finished all of season 2 again. My one hope for season 3...MORE T-DOG, PLEASE! Such an underused character. I will be extremely disappointed if he goes the way of so many African Americans in horror before him and dies before his character gets some deeper development and quality screen time.

Looks like I'm gonna be waitin' until Tuesday to get mine. There has been no status change on mine since 3am September 1st. Unless fedex doesn't deliver on the Saturday's, there's no excuse why it shouldn't have been delivered yesterday. Not happy about this!

Nope, there was description there. Rule of thumb, when in doubt use spoiler tags...that's why they are there.

they need to get rid of T-Dog and replace him with Tyrese

The name T-Dog is just ridiculous. Its crazy in a time of crisis that they call him T-Dog. Just sounds so out of place when they are in a panic with walkers.

I don't care for the name either... but in the scheme of things... I would find talking about the dead coming back to eat me to be far odder than being asked to call some new dude I just met "T-Dog"... I mean, if I can handle the zombie apocalypse, I can call you whatever you want to be called
