Here's a couple
Indy shoots the swordsman in Raiders The adrenaline shot scene from Pulp fiction Do you expect me to talk? No Mister Bond, I expect you to die. -Goldfinger The hallway scene from Exorcist 3 ( if you've seen this movie you know what I'm talking about) I could go on all day. |

Mine is at the end of Close Encounters Of The Third Kind. Everyone thinks after the small ships leave that it's all over. Then you see a giant shadow overcast everyone, and the bass rumblings of the Mothership can be heard. I love the part where one of the Army guys runs past Roy Neary to take a piss or dump, hilarious. Then when it lands there is the exchange of music between the two, a brilliant score by John Williams. The door later opens up and all the missing people show up without aging a bit. Barry gets reunited with his mother and Roy Neary gets suited up to board the Mothership. We then see the 'kid' aliens come walking out of the Mothership and pick out Roy first to board. Cut to the scene where the alien comes out and does the Kolday hand signs with Mr. Lacombe. I never get tired of seeing this movie or this ending. A great movie by Spielberg and one of my all time favorite movies.

Mine is from Dumb and Dumber:
Its the scene when Lloyd (Jim Carrey) accidentally takes the turn to Nebraska instead of Colorado. After driving some odd hours into Nebraska, Harry (Jeff Daniels) wakes up. They look out onto the flat farmland plains that Nebraska has, and they say the following: Lloyd:"Huh.....I was expecting the Rocky mountains to be a little rockier than this" Harry: "I was thinking the same thing" Lloyd:"That John Denver's full o' sh*t man!" It makes me laugh just thinking about that part |

As I said, there are many great movie moments, but here's one you all may know:
The final scene in Lawrence of Arabia when T.E. Lawrence is being driven away from Damascus in a Rolls-Royce by an enlisted driver. In the desert they pass a band of Arabs on camels leaving Damascus. Lawrence stands to acknowledge them, but they give him no notice. In an English officer's uniform he is not recognized by the tribe as being their "Lawrence" of the desert. He sits back down in the car. The driver says "Well sir, going home!". Lawrence wasn't paying attention to him and replies "Hmm?" The driver repeats "Going home, sir!". A motorcycle passes them heading out of Damascus and a truck of British troops pass the other way, heading to Damascus. You see Lawrence's face looking through the windshield. Then you hear the "Lawrence theme" on the strings of a zither. It's the end of the most important chapter in the man's life, now all in the past. He's returning to the same old home, England, but he returns forever changed. |

WOW! There are so many. My #1 is the opening scene from Star Wars Revenge of the Sith with the drums pounding, the Republic Assault Ship rumbling across the screen, and Anakin & Obi-Wan swooping down in their ships. Goosebump enducing every single time.

i loved that scene in Die Hard when The car hits the two cars... you know? That was awesome in the theater. The sound of the Cloverfield monster, The subway scene in Cloverfield. Any scene in There Will be Blood, the epic trailer for Indy 4. The sweeping score during the first few seconds followed by the Indy theme with his shadow then the sound of the whip when he jumped. It gave me chills.

One of my all-time favorite movie moments is the final couple of scenes from The Wild Bunch. The one where the four guys are marching down to the plaza to confront the Mexican officer who is holding their buddy hostage, and then they take on the entire army! Bullets blazing and plenty of blood. Some darn good acting by the way.
