i gotta respect ANYBODY that loves his team as much as that man right there. call him crass, call him disrespectful, call him what you will; but he loves his 'Canes and you can't deny that.

i can certainly remember feeling the exact way he feels now about 10 years ago. and that lasted for a few years.

and while i am certainly NOT a miami hurricanes fan, what they need to do is find themselves another howard schnellenberger (but obviously keep him around much longer). that man could recruit like noone else and had a lock-down on the city of miami and surrounding areas.

imo, this is one of the most underrated games each season. it doesn't get a whole lot of press here in the south, but i've watched this game a couple times and it usually turns out to be quite entertaining. i'm a fan of neither of the teams so i don't really pull for one over the other; but i do enjoy a good football game.

A lot of Miami fans are very worried with the current state of our program. I have to keep telling my parents that we'll come through through stronger than ever before. Right now are going through our growing pains, but we'll reap the benefits of playing so many younger players in the next couple years.

Yeah, everything I've read is saying we are looking are a three year postseason ban, but we will be credited for self imposed bans. If we're smart we'll do another self imposed bowl ban this year. That will knock our bowl ban down to one year going forward. There will be scholarship reductions as well, but Golden has done a good job at overloading our recruiting classes the last two years in anticipation of that.

Looking forward to the Ucla game Saturday but I think I'm honestly more nervous for this Houston game than I was for the Nebraska game. This has a trap feeling as too many big wins followed by complete let downs still fresh in memory.

You have nothing to worry about Houston. They might be the worst team in FBS this year.

Ya just nervous fan lol. In 2008 UCLA beat Tennessee(18) and everyone got all excited. They went on to lose eight of their final 11 lol. Then a few years later the Bruins beat Houston(23) followed by another big win Texas(7) in Austin. That turned up being four-win season

Considering how there was no BCS until 1998, I don't know how this can be true.

Being that this is a football thread, I was purely speaking to that sport, but as others have mentioned, basketball hasn't exactly been the model of perfection, now has it?

I mean, you were 2-10 last year. I applaud you for matching record in the first two weeks, but wrestling a win from W&M is juco material for sure
